How We Breathe Matters: Understanding the Impact of Functional and dysfunctional breathing and simple tools to change your life
How we breathe matters. Human beings breathe more than 20,000 times each day and so without understanding how or why, we simply “just breathe”. But this lack of understanding leaves a lot of room for interpretation and variation. Breathing involves more than a hundred muscles and structures which can either work effectively and efficiently or become dysfunctional. Breathing affects every single system in the human body, most importantly our nervous system. The attendee will come away with a deeper understanding of how their breathing can be working for or against them. Additionally, each person will learn simple tools for nudging their breathing system away from suffering toward becoming a subtle superpower.
