All practitioners (Complementary, Alternative, and Traditional) of healing for trauma are invited to participate in the Haelan House Provider Directory for Healing Trauma.
The Haelan House Practitioner Directory will help you reach potential clients and identify other practitioners with whom you might collaborate or refer clients for additional healing services.
How it Works:
When Haelan House receives a request for your services, the request will be sent to you directly. If the client is working through the Haelan House Wellness Care Fund, you will be notified that a portion of the payment will come from Haelan House and the remainder will be the responsibility of the client, the details of which are to be determined by the provider. For example, whether or not you offer a payment plan for the balance of the treatment services, or whether or not any portion of the treatment is covered by insurance.
Your directory listing includes:
- Promotion of your services through Haelan House.org
- Listing in the Haelan House Practitioner Directory at HaelanHouse.org for 1, 6, or 12 months. You determine the length of time when you sign up.
- If you are already a Trauma Informed practitioner, your listing will be designated with the Trauma Informed Practitioner Seal.
- Links to your website and social media.
- Invitation to present your modality in a Haelan House Healing Focus educational session.
- Educational session videos will be posted on HaelanHouse.org and our YouTube Channel as ongoing resources.
- Invitation to write blog posts about your modality to be posted on the Haelan House website.
FAQ:
Q: Do I have to provide a free consultation?
A: No, you do not have to provide a free consultation. However, we believe it is in the practitioner’s and client’s best interest to do so to determine whether or not your working together would be the right fit.
Q: Do I have to be a “trauma-sensitive” practitioner to be included in the directory?
A: No, you do not have to be a trauma-sensitive practitioner to be included in the directory. If you are a trauma-sensitive practitioner, your listing will be designated as such for those looking for practitioners with that knowledge and experience.
Q: If I’m not already a trauma-sensitive practitioner, how do I get the training?
A: Haelan House is working on a curriculum to deliver trauma-informed training to those who are interested. This training will be available in 2023. In the meantime, you can contact Trauma Informed Oregon for training through them.
Q: What if I’m not happy with the Practitioner Directory listing?
A: You can cancel your listing at any time. Or just not renew it when the renewal time comes.
