Healing from a Social Perspective
This month we would like to cover the social aspect of how trauma affects our lives. We started a discussion on the topic of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The feeling of isolation or not feeling accepted within our community, or not having equal opportunities, and how we as a community, and individuals might be able to remove those barriers that divide us.
This December, we will facilitate a discussion about how we can help create more peace on Earth. We want to give people ways to address and support diversity, equity, and inclusion in their own lives and in the workplace.
Our panel is made up of three community members, professionals who have lived and working experience in helping to create and support diversity, equity, and inclusion.
-Miguel Herrada, Health Equity and Diversity Strategist for Pacific Source. He supports the advancement of health equity and the elimination of health disparities across the organization’s health plan programs, lines of business, and communities.
-Dawn Creach, MS – Owner, Creach Consulting. Dawn is an independent consultant who is passionate about improving health and health care delivery.
-Dr. Elaine Faverey, DC and Divine Intervention & Spontaneous Remission practitioner, dedicated to bringing greater states of health in a natural and holistic manner.
